If I had a stick it would be just insane wicked, it sounds like a jet engine (i mean loud) and when it hits 18-20psi it just is unreal . I was drivin it up the road to warm it up ( i had 800lbs on the front ) was doing 60mph with my budy and laid into it ,it just baked them off and sideways we went 3 times I did it.

now if I had a stick I could light it right away with a big AR , WOW that would be bitchin. I have no complaints so far ,it has been great for a big turbo( it flows 200cfm more than a Arura 5000 and ATS uses that for there big charger in there twins)

RODS if I end up switching it out I will let ya try it out.

So if I hear you right, you want hte stick to make it spool sooner with more load? Why not just an automatic convertor that's much tighter?

brandon.

with a stick you are using rpm and the lawnch, with an auto you need to spool before the lawnch, I want to leave the line with at least 15psi perferably 20+psi. a tight converter won't let that happen

just uses a looser converter, i had mine built to stall a bit higher than stock. i build boost pretty quick with one foot on the brake and the other on the fuel. then i lock up the converter when it gets rolling.

II has them but it only flows a couple hundred more than your A5 probably not worth the change, and they generaly run smaller turbine housing on the A5's so they spool almost as good, they just don't sound as cool the 42 sounds like a big jet taking off.

My a5k sounds like a 747.

I have a buddy who is wanting to step up to a large turbo for pulling. He has an 01.
