dynoed the GT42R

well I was alittle bummed , it only went 560/959 on #2 809/1495 on drugs with the wastegate set at 44psi should have been 60psi but didn't have time to adjust it so I think we could have been in the 600s .Dunbar said it has alot more ,it was just to laggy with the 1.28 ar Dave was a big help and worked hard for us . I think with a new AR it will really come on ,and a second stage of NOS and we should see 1000.
But on the bright side we beat out 30 good runnin Dmaxes

Cool...I have a regular GT42-94 I'm gonna build for "small" twins. It's got the 1.01/WG housing, and a 71mm/94mm Exducer compressor. Should work really well for what I'm planning

The B2 is a bit laggy for towing below a 40...but I have two turbos that should be AWESOME replacements. Thanks for one of them Ron...

Now all I need, is time

when we hit the NOS a 100hp shot it would hit 60-62psi thats why we had to dyno with such a low #2 only setting (44psi) . we need to run alot more NOS I have been told at least 2 125 jets. my only worry is I didn't decompress my marine piston since I was not planing on running over the 700hp level so I am not sure if I will go that wild on the drugs.

chris I think with a 1.01 Ar ( thats what I am going to do this week ) it will be a very good turbo.

Very Good! I still have my GT42. Going on 2.5 years now.

It is not a BB though. 1.14 housing and a 102 compressor wheel got me to 682 HP with a weak motor.

It would make 73 PSI on Diesel only without a wastegate.

It is laggy to 10 PSI, but from there on HANG ON!

it was just a 100hp ( size 75 ) jet aleast I think that is a 100hp jet , evan with that it was lookin like a locamotive , we blacked out the street and surrounding buildings .

Don I think if I would have cranked the waste gate to 60 like I run on the street we would have been in the 650 range ,since we turned it up from 40 to 44 and picked up 10hp ,

You guys are using them as singles...and I'm stoked about running it as my Primary in twins

I find that a little amusing...and comforting, too There are people crazier than me

You're just jealous cause you can't make your Pyro spin clear around

Hopefully I can find my boost leak and fix that...soon!!

My pyro hasn't moved in awhile. Any ideas what's happening? Maybe I need to trade you for that GT42, Chris...
