Talking Dyno today!!!!

Im goin to the dyno in 3 hours !!! I think Im gonna slide my plate forward again just for the dyno, would that be a bad Idea. Its gonna run 42 lbs boost on the stock turbo, but just for two pulls on the dyno. And are the egts gonna be worse on the dyno than on the road??

Stock turbo running 42lbs boost is going to drive up your EGTs and backpressure. My (limited) experience is that EGTs are higher on the dyno as there isn't much effective cooling on the intercooler even with a fan in front of the truck.

301 hp 709 lbs torque, Im happy with that. I was on a mustang dyno that wouldnt read right because of my torque converter( so they said). So I had to add numbers to what their machine said. Im not very happy about all that. Anyone ever heard of this. Will they not read right because of my triple disc billet converter? They said the nubers I had to add to their ratings are very close. But who wants to have to add numbers.

Never heard of a torque converter causing problems unless it was coming unlocked. Numbers sound about right.
