Dyno numbers

Numbers are in 5th gear, on a mustang dynamometer uncorrected @ around 5000' elev. In Bluffdale UT.
Edge setting
#0 260.1 Hp 563.3 Tq
#5 337.8 Hp 757.6 Tq
#6 341.9 Hp 755.9 Tq
One hundred dollars for #6

It was always my understanding that the "hot" setting was basically just more agressive in timing, not really a HP increase. I like the "hot" program on mine though.

The last time I dynoed was last year at Weekend On The Edge in Ogden. I had a similar setup as you and I dynod very similar numbers.

My owners manual said 25 hp and 50 tq.

That is probably 25 hp and 50 tq further into the RPM band. Meaning that your hp curve will hold 25 more horsepower longer instead of dropping off very quickly after the peak number.

the HO pump will make it hard, and you might need larger than a 62/12 to have a driveable towable 500 without really high egts. may even need twins and larger injectors. JMHO

You will need at least mach 4's if you want 500.

Maybe on torque but not on hp. If you have the clutch to hold it, 400-450 is just an injector swap away. You'll probably need something bigger than 2's to hit 500. I too set a goal of 500/1000 and have yet to hit it on the hp side even with mach 4's,....... unless you round up

You should be able to get 500hp with M4s and a 62/12 if you give a shot of squeeze..

If you go with M4's you and a 62/71 or 73 turbo you will be right at 500-520 RWHP.
