Talking Dyno HP/TQ number estimates

I recently made some upgrades to my truck (intake, fuel lines, and DD3's)and I am going to dyno it as soon as Imler Diesel has another Dyno Day. I am curious as to what i can expect to put down to the ground with what I have. Let's hear your estimates please. See signature for current setup. Thanks.

I would also say around 400hp too 800+tq. I will also be going to Imlars when he has his next event. I might even give you a run for your money with my tired old first gen. It sounds like his last event was fun and I cant wait.

Hey Stomp, by the looks of your numbers, I wouldn't even be close! There was a dark green 93, there last time, real clean truck. Hope to see ya there. I may have switched to a Comp box by then....

Well mine is green, but its not a very clean pickup . I hope to have it painted by then though. Well if you add a comp we might have to adjust the numbers for ya. Well I cant wait to see how your pickup does and to see who comes the closest on the guessing yopur numbers. I guess I will see you there or on here from time to time.

I hope to see some first gens there, The last event I went to there was only two. I think that there are a couple more than that ever in the Sacramento area.

I don' t know how much the stock HO clutch is good for. With 38 psi boost and a stock HX35, I would bet around 380 hp, the torque number not much over the 800 mark. That clutch must smell really nice..

I dyno'd at 427/924 last week. That's with a little smaller injector, and a little bigger turbo. Should give you a ball park though. Also I have a drag comp...

Sorry for all the questions, I am jsut excited about getting my DD3's on and smoking some ricers off the street...hopefully my clutch will hold!

getblown 5.9,

Injectors are insainly easy. I think DD has some of the best instructions ever written. A heck of a lot better than those you get with your Xmas gifts. You now the ones originally wriiten in Korean, then translated into German, then translated into Spanish, and finally translated into English. If you take your time and don't have too many adult bevreges, you should be done in a couple of hours. I love my BD short shift. Might be some of the best money I have spent on the truck. Have fun on the injectors.

Michael
