dyno guesses....

getting ready to head out to the dyno.... mainly to see where i am right now since i got this awesome tranny from Dave..... this way i can see what kind of increase i can get out of DV's, Injectors, and a Turbo........ first run will be all out with N2O next run will be on motor with jacked up boost, next will be in driving mode and next will be valet mode. any guessers on what my peak HP and TQ will be? i'll be dynoing on a Dynojet 224XLC, it has load control.

anyway let me run.... i'll post up numbers when i get back from the shop. Benjamin

best was 249.65 HP 624.70 TQ


the small nitrous shot was in that pull.... i was using a .037 jet.... i was going to go bigger but noone had any jets.....

on the motor best was 247.45 HP 585.14 TQ

Was that with stock injectors, and delivery valves, or what? Those numbers seem plenty low to me. I have a 160 pump and made 281/693 with only a plate, and 3k. What kind of dyno was it? What gear did you run in? Seems maybe it wasnt getting loaded like it should...

Dynojet 224XLC
all pulls with the converter locked in 3rd

stock injectors, stock delivery valves, stock manifold, stock turbo, stock intercooler. i believe the numbers might be low due to the tripple disc converter and flex plate being WAY stouter (more rotating mass) than stock. truck has 167K on it the new Goerend tranny has ~7K on it. the load control was wonderful. @ 35% load i'd be seeing ~15 psi by ~1400rpm before i would make the pull...... unlike the first couple of pulls that we didn't use the load control and it took a bit for it to get going.... i'll post up the charts when i get them e-mailed to me tonight....
