Dyno in Alaska

Does anybody know if there is a dyno set up in Fairbanks or Anchorage? I wouldn't mind dynoing my truck. Thanks Doug

Give Cummins in Anchorage a call.... toll free...1-800-478-3646 or 907-279-7594. I lived in Palmer for four years, and I don't know of one in the state, but never asked anyone either....they might know.
btw...how's the skeeters this summer?

There is not a dyno in the state anywhere. I have talked to everyone in town to include the pro drag racers at AK Raceway and the Legend Series dirt track guys as well as a few of the ricer performance shops. There is an engine dyno in the valley, but that does you no good unless you get the itch to pull your engine out.

Jeff at Advanced Diesel in Anchorage has been saying since last winter that he was going to build a new diesel performance shop this summer on Commercial Dr. that would have a new DynoJet. It was suppose to be open by July, but I was by the empty lot last week and they haven't even begun. Jeff is not a very bright fellow and I think his partner finally figured that out and canxed the project. Too bad for us.

The skeeters are not to bad so far, seems like August they come out in force. Well that is too bad we don't have a dyno in the state. Are there a lot of members around Fairbanks and Anchorage? I think I seen one TDR sticker since becoming more involved with diesel performance. Thanks for the input.

DynoJet lists a shop in Anchorage that has a dyno. I've noticed the list on DynoJet website is really out of date though.

Piers of Piers Diesel Research fame is planning a fishing trip to Alaska and started working with some diesel guys in Fairbanks on organizing a get together. Not sure if Anchorage won out as the location.
