Duals or Single
#3
Think they both flow about the same. Maybe a little more flow on a 5 inch. Its all about what look you want I think. I had duals on mine which are now on the girlfriends truck and now I got stacks. If I was to do it over again I would have kept the duals. As far as an Intake are you talking air filter or intake horn on motor?

4" will flow plenty 5" is over kill less ya want to muffle it good then its kinda nice. I wanted quiet and still allow it to breath good so i got a 5" exhaust and big honkin donaldson 5" muffler almost as quiet as stock but still dropped my egt's. (i drive heavy equip all day dont wanna listen to it on the drive home) Its pretty throaty but dosent wake the dead when ya stomp on it.
thats what i built the elky for 383 stroker with 3" pipes with a short glass pack out the back and electric dumps for when i feel frisky

I have 4" to a 5" single stack, no muffler or cat. I've been running this for under a year and I hate it now haha. It was great when I first did it in the late fall cause the windows were up and I never knew how loud it was. Before that I had 4" straight, under the bed and it was still very loud. Im adding a muffler back in, and going back under the bed, i think this will sound the best...as far as single vs dual, should be personal preference imo.

This is totally my opinion, but i believe that the best not too obnoxious exhaust is 4 inch duals with a straight through muffler. the straight through muffler is like a big can which has sound grabbers inside of it which takes out the obnoxious noises and all what is left is a nice deep sound. I have a silverline system

as far as the exhaust is concerned it really depends on how you truck is set up or how far you plan on taking it. a 4 inch system will be louder than a 5 inch system. and the 5 inch will have a lower tone. i went with a 4 inch system with a muffler from flo pro. it sounds really good, but not insanly loud and definatley dropped my egt's.
if you are talking about an intake horn i wouldnt waste your time with it. if you are talking about a air filter you can do a search for BHAF which is kinda a build your own kit and they flow really good since the filter is HUGE!! otherwise just about any cold air intake kit on the market is pretty good. i went with a K&N and i wouldnt do it again since it lets in to much dirt/dust and oil from the filter. i will be going to an AMSOIL nanofiber filter here shortly. they flow and filter way better than K&N and they are a dry filter with like a 100,000 mile warranty. blow them out with a little shop air and put it back on.
