dually spacers
well folks, as you can see in my sig. I am now the proud owner of an 01' "again" ( bought my old truck back today!!! it's down & out in need of an injector pump, but it's mine again non the less!!) my 97' 12-v now resides in the next driveway over as my bro-in-law is the new owner of it, but anyway on to my ? the 01 has a set of eagle alloy bullet holes & 265/75 tires, the problem is if you load it heavy the tires will rub in the rear, I kinda like the look of the 265's, but I pull way too often too have them rubbing in the back, the inside wheels on the back are the old 4 hole style from the 94'-99' trucks & I have a couple of the 00'-up black steel wheels laying around, & I was thinking that the offset was a little different from one to the other, my ? is could I maybe swap the old stlye steelies for the new ones & then run say a 1" spacer in the rear & then air up the tires to 80-90 psi. & get rid of the rubbing??? I know they're gonna ride a little rough at that pressure, but it's better than them rubbing together & causing a blowout, anybody have experience running a 265 tire on a dually????? thanks, Dusty
