Hey HillBilly, I agree with you on the cool factor of having gauges on both sides, infact so does my friend and he mentioned something to me a while back and im trying to get some pods made. I know a guy with a custom plastics shop and im talking to him about making me and my bud a pod. Keep in touch and i will let you know how it turns out.

Isspro gauges
In the Isspro EV series you can run a pair of pyros off of one t-couple, (at least you could a couple years ago). You could also T off the boost line and run two boost gauges on one tap. Personally I think a pair of the small gauge pods would look better than a pillar, Isspro makes those too.
