Dual exhaust ????

I want to hook up my stock exhaust to dual six inch stacks coming out the back. all of the kits I see are for a 4wd. Do they work on a 2wd or is there clearance issues? Can I just buy the piece where it comes over axle and splits? I have a line on the stacks and can handle the rest of the exhaust at a local shop. Its the split and bends over the axle I don't want to spend a wad of cash on since I am trying to do this on the cheap.

TIA

See I can already get most of the pieces to make my own kit like this:
http://store.dieseltruckresource.com/mbt4tubadual.html
but why does it say 4x4 only?

Go to post no#4. That's how I did it. I used stainless, added a 90 to the existing 4" underneath and cut the hole in the bed to tie in to the 6" cross tube. All polished stainless, all TIG welded. DIY, it's cheaper and more rewarding.
Thats cool but I am looking for the dual exhaust out the back like the single exhaust is stock but just one on each side.

Upon further inspection it looks like the muffler is the divider, any kits with the divider as a y-pipe if I got the over the axle part I could get a divider maybe?

Thanks for the having the pic on the site. I guess the longer bends will cause clearance issues. I wish someone would chime in that has tried it or has a set of duals on a 2wd. There has to be a reason they say 4wd only.
