DTT or Not!!

I just dropped mine off late Friday afternoon, rent a car at weekend rates (I'm 3 hrs away) and he met me at the car rental place on Sunday afternoon! Test drove it while taking him back to his shop.
Being far away, as you say, be as honest as possible about future HP. The tranny can than be set for where you will be in the near future. Also, It took about 10 days (1000 miles of daily driving) for clutch faces to wear in, so don't be disappointed with the feel of your new tranny on day one!

You won't regret it!
I assume Bill + Stephen and others working on your truck, can crank out a rebuilt tranny in an 8 hr work day

Just out of curiosity what kind of $$ are we talking for a DTT Trans. I see around $3600 on their website. What isn't included in that and what kind of power will these hold?

Otter, you are right there, make the trip over. I tell people the same thing, 1-2 days to do a full rebuild when doing their trucks with the DTT stuff. Most trucks it only takes a day, but then again, I'm usually adding power along with building the transmission.
Patrick, there is an extensive list of items in that price from DTT directly. You can say no part is left untouched. There are upgrades to almost every area of the transmission.

Yesterdays quote from Stefan was
trans & converter $3599
Billet input $695
Billet output $795
total $5100usd prices are listed on their web site also.
No need for intermediate shaft as the billets are breaking more often than the stock ones, Bill figures its due to the stock ones "giving a little bit" and not snapping?
