DTT noise filter install and APPS reset???
Got my DTT noise filter this afternoon!
Question: When doing the reset of the APPS, do you adjust the APPS a little at a time, then turn the key on to check where you are at the PCM? Which direction do you turn the module to increase/decrease the reading? The wire you take the reading from (pin #23) is the same wire you install the white side of the filter to, correct? If I sound like I'm not getting this, tell me!
I'm going to do the install/reset tomorrow morning, so any help would be great!

I installed the noise filter this morning and reset the APPS.
The initial reading was .49 VDC. I checked the back of the APPS and it called for .526 VDC. Not knowing which way I needed to turn the module, I used a channel locks to attempt to nudge it a little to find out. To my surprise, I applied pressure on it clockwise and noticed it increased, quite dramatically, I might add. So, using the channel locks I was able to get it right on .52 VDC ... didn't need to loosen the screws! I took the truck out and rechecked it when I got back ... .51 VDC. She was cold when I did the reset, now she's warm, so I'll check her again tomorrow morning, under the same conditions ... I'm not sure if it matters?
Does anyone know if the truck needs to be level to reset this? Mine was in the driveway, on an incline.
