DT profab-trackbar/control arms

i'm lookin at the dt profab website right now and i'm lookin at the track bar kit, it looks like the bracket solidsteel has to use a 3rd gen trackbar, and it looks kinda like a 3rd gen trackbar as well, is it?? does anyone know anything about em?, i'm also looking at the control arms,, they look cool,
and the steering stabilizer, whats the difference in orderin them, they have em for lifted trucks and stock trucks,, ??
maybe i'm just dumb, but i only have a levelin kit
and i think these are pretty good prices as well
thanks

I have there track bar and it does not hold up. i use m truck for work little to none offroad and the heim joints they use only last me between 10-15 thousand miles.

Go with Solid steel that is who i would do next time.

DT has horrible customer service also, once they sell to you they blow you off

I have been very happy with the DT control arms, but I don't care for the Heim joints on their track bar. I am going with a Solid Steel adjustable track bar.

For trackbars, try THuren. I am a very happy customer - great product and great customer service. Don spent 15-20 minutes w/ me before I bought a thing from him. The bar is awesome!

I have both on my truck. Like the control arms. Put them on to move the tires forward cause they rubbed a little at full lock. I bought the 1/2" forward arms. I hate the track bar and it was a pita to install. You have to drill (2) 1/2inch holes in the crossmember, drill a hole for your brake line, and you feel it working in the floorboard on my truck. Heims are not for me. I'm gonna yank it and get something else. If you buy the arms set them up with zerks, they don't come with them so you cant grease em after assembly unless you pull em off the truck

Not be a smart aleck or flame you, but buying one good part and several mediocre to terrible parts from one place seems much sillier than buying only the good quality parts from several vendors. It is just my opinion, so take it for what it is worth. I bought the best fittings from one vendor, the Walbro from another, and the filter head and various parts from several others. I feel I have a bulletproof fuel system, basedon the recommendations of which parts were best quality from several different vendors. I now have a top-notch fueling system, at a lower price than some of the ready-made kits. I don't begrudge the others for their time, effort, and prioduct, I just went off of the recommendations and reviews of the various walbro systems out there and combined the best features from several places to get exactly what I wanted.

Sorry for the long, non-track bar post, but wanted to add some food for thought...

Carry on, as I am now looking at front end upgrades for the future, myself!

i do see where your coming from, but i was just askin on the quality about the other things before i did buy the mediocre, stuff,, i am looking for the best quality, but if i can get the same quality from the same company for two different parts. its better to save a lil bit on the shipping.,, my own thought, but thanks for the advice

My dad has the solid steel 3rd gen trackbar conversion on his 01.5 and I have the Thuren. I would have gone w/ the 3rd gen when he did but I did not need it at the time. I did last month and went with the Thuren and it's a better piece and adjustable should you lift your truck a bit in the future. You can recenter the axle.

I know guys with 60,000 miles+ of hard driving on their Thurens and it's still tight.

But I do also have the Solid Steel DSS since around 24,000 miles and am happy with that product.
