DSS with lift kit not working

anyone out there with a DSS (http://www.solidsteel.ca/DSS.htm) and lift kit? i called the guys who make this and told them about my lift...2.75" drop brackets for anti-sway bar, nothing between them. guy said it should work fine but when i went to line it up tonight the bracket was at least an inch below the end of the extended pitman nut. am i missing something here? i know the sway bar is not 100% essential, but i live up a canyon with some tight turns-curves-switchbacks and wouldn't mind keeping it on there, just don't see how it could work. will call windecker in morning, but might sleep better if anyone has any info..
many thanks

Put the dss up against the frame first and then mount the drop brackets underneath the dss. I'm running a 4.5" skyjacker and that's how I'm running it and it works great.

If your drop is not enough for the sway bar to clear the brace unlike big blue's you can fix the sway bar from the other end. Use some longer end links . That is what I had to do. My Kore drop blocks would not work as they put the sway bar right in the way of the DSS. A larger drop and it might be fine as then it could go underneath the dss and not interfere with it. I ended up getting some longer end links from Carli Suspension. So far they have worked great.
