Drove Jetpilot's truck!

What a ride! 24 valve with P-pump conversion and twins makes for a thrilling ride, especially in the rain. Dirt - trackin' on the street. Doug did a brake-torque launch in 4wd, all 4 were spinning and the truck was kinda crabbing down the crown of the road until he got out of it enough to let the tires grab. The smoke from the launch was so bad a guy coming the other way stopped when he got to the cloud - we were about 1000 feet away by then. Then Doug let me drive. ;D I never floored it 'cuz I'm chicken, but I got the rear slipping a few times. When you get into the throttle, it feels ok at first, then the twins spool up and it goes from "pretty cool" to "Holy Crap!" in a heartbeat! This truck is just indescribably powerful, thanks for the test drive, Doug.

BTW, anybody else near Philly who needs their KDP imprisoned, let me know.

???
I thought passing/surviving NASA astronaut training was a requirement to drive Doug's Truck.

There's a loophole if you know how to do a jig (KDP, that is).

Re:Drove Jetpilot's truck!

First off I want to say "Thank You" to Dave for doing the KDP fix on my 96 CTD. Too bad it had been raining or we could have really had some fun ;D Anyway I was cleaning the truck up after you left and had to clean a LOT of rubber off the fenders behind all 4 tires.

Thanks again,

Doug
