Angry Drop in lift pump replacament

Does anyone know of a drop lift pump replacament other than what you can get from dodge or cummins? Dodge wants $482 and cummins wants $286 Canadian! That seems a bit steep to me for something that needs to be replacaed so often! I looking for a lift pump that mounts with the same bolts, uses the same plug in and the same inlet/outlet banjos in the same spots. Does anyone know of something that will work thats more reasonabily priced? thanks, Chuck.

I got this from these guys because they were local

I got burned on duties and taxes many times bringing stuff in from the USA so I try to buy local now. Where in Canada are you? Give them a call, their good guys and they have a couple of options you can do. Good luck

Talking Lift pump

Thanks for the info guy's. I ended up ordering a lift pump from hoesli in the states. It ended up being over a $100 dollars cheaper than what I could get it for up here. "ratsun", I live a couple of km's from piers and your right, they are good guy's! The FASS is a little bit more than I want to spend right now. I've ordered Scotty's high flow fuel system for my truck and the guy's who are using them with the stock lift pumps are getting long life out of there lift pumps, so I'm going to put a new lift pump in when I instal my Scotty's system and keep my old one as a spare just in case. My stock lift pump is still running strong with 70,000 km's on it, so hopefully a new one will last even longer with the high flow lines! We'll see. Thanks again, Chuck.

I hear you! thats exactly why I like to deal with NAPA when ever I can. I get 30% off list from Napa which usually blows away lordco's prices for me anyway. Napa doesn't carry carter pumps in Canada for some reason. I checked. thanks.
