Question Drag Comp Upgrade

I am about to remove my Edge Comp this afternoon and send in for the Drag Upgrade. My question is will I throw a overboost code with the turbo and 275's? With the box off, my boost gets up to about 26psi.

Thanks in advance...

i just had mine off yesterday and i got a overboost code, but that didnt happen till i put my foot into it. After i pulled the code i obviously couldnt get as much power, but it was still enough to get where i needed to go..... the computer limited me to 25psi..... i normally pull a tad over 35 with the box hooked up but not on

Yup. You probably will set a code...

Like SD said, the truck will still drive, just low on power.

If you don't go over ~20PSI or so, you won't set a code. You'll be fine. If you do set a code,, just reset your computers when you get your COMP, and keep on motoring....

Good thing is, Edge is very fast on their upgrades, and warrenty claims....

Ok, took the box out last night and took it for a spin. Pressured the intake up to about 25 psi and no check engine light, no codes...(there's the P1693, not sure where that came from but it's been there for about 3 weeks that I know of)...good to go. How do you go about resetting the codes without the code reader??

Unhook both positive and negative cables on both batteries, then try to start the truck once or twice.. This should do it.

I've also done that method Merrick, but it still shows up when the dealer hooks a scanner up to it, i guess it stores it in the ECM.
