Re:Drag Comp
No stacking with the DRAG Comp.
If you want to stack your going to have get a PM3 or Blue Chip unit.
Yeah the Drag and Custom Comps are nice products.

hey guy, i just had my box replaced with what i thought was a "comp" but it acts like a drag ...... what do i say

You could always send it to Edge, tell them you feel guilty that you got more than what you paid for, and have them downgrade it for you.

Re:Drag Comp
In order to stack boxes, you must be able to access different points in the motor / ECM. A Comp drag and a SC Dieseltuner should work together. Otherwise, a VanAAken box that accesses through the Can Bus port should do the trick with your drag box as well. I am sure others will give their advice as well. Good luck ................... LE

Re:Drag Comp
I have stacked the VanAaken with a comp and I tried the 3705 superchips with the comp. I got a high rpm miss with the 3705, but the Van Aaken works great.

Re:Drag Comp
Do not stack any two boxes that plug into the CAN.
The CAN is a network, and even if it looks like you are plugging in at two places the network does not see it that way.
Only use one plug in box at a time!

Re:Drag Comp
What Diesel Freak said. Also, drag comp does smoke more than a comp. Don't know exactly why. Apparently Edge has a couple of versions. Drag comp which prevents defueling on 5x5 only and a hot comp that prevents defueling from 2x5 all the way thru 5x5. Don't know how to tell the difference exactly. I only run 2 settings with mine. 1x1 when towing or on freeway or 5x5 (not towing of course) if I think I'm gonna need it. I never fool with settings 2,3,4. If I'm gonna turn it up and get it on I go to directly to 5x5. Never get caught with your pants down is my rationale for that.
Roger
PS. Smoke issue is why I run on 1x1 most of the time or off entirely. There is a time and place for everything and sometimes the smoke thing can get right down embarassing and get people upset with Diesel Truck owners in general.
