what power level are you looking for?
what do you use your truck for? daily driving? towing? racing?
from time spent on this forum, the 1998 and 1999 VP44's seemed to die relatively fast when piercing the wire with a fueling box. beware, you are your own warranty station.
seems like any wiring piercing fueling box with an auto tranny makes higher EGTs because of the HY35.
the edge comp and TST PM3 are great fueling boxes, but to each their own.
