Well after rebuilding 3 T5's I broke down and bought a Tremec and am NOT going to rebuild it so goodbye powershifts and hello grannyshifts. Your right about the big MPH everybody at the track keeps yelling at me to powershift them **** thing but I have no cage! Our track is IHRA and you don't have to have a cage untill 11.5 and I don't want to cage it(loses the sleeper look with a cage) It 60' at 1.65 with drag radials and the 11.5 runs are with a 125 shot. Its a basic 306 with AFR heads, big cam, RPM intake, 24#inj. 3.73 with a spool and no weight!! Its a no option notchback with tubular K-member, A-arms and coil overs. Its a great street car 20mpg, stereo and quiet exhaust. Its for sale if you want to come up and get it
Too slow now(you now how it goes) Friend with a 98 camaro just dumped 50 grand into his and now it runs 9.30 and my lic. plate is LS1HAHA, so the car has to go.
