Dont hesitate to get Vulcan Kit
#16
Ordered mine Monday night after getting an EZ that day and triggering the low fuel pressure light (I know I should have a guage, but light came with the truck), I spent the night reading post about it before ordering. Looks like it will do the trick as opposed to an all out walbro kit for my level of mods. Thanks alot for the posts guys! The info here is awesome. BTW, what is a campaign pump opposed the stock type?

I actually installed an updated pump system since my last post on this thread. My BD pump actually took a crap on me (warranty will cover but I have to send it in blah blah blah ). Anyways I didn't have time for BD to deal with the warranty work so I was stuck and needing some options. I remember reading on here about campaign pumps. I checked them out, called my local Cummins shops and decided I would get two of them. I replaced my OEM lift pump (relocated to the tank with the Vulcan kit) and my BD pump (right in front of my OEM LP) with two campaign pumps. All I can say is I am very, very about the system.
My Pressures (at injection pump fitting):
Idle- 20-22
75mph- 17-18
WOT- 10-15
My favorite part is if one craps out on me I'm only out $45 for another.
So far (only 3k miles) it is flawless
In response to 4x4Dually: I just bought mine from Cummins in Arlington TX for 45 a piece +tax. Prices may be different between shops??

I did only the vulcan kit, no draw straw, so It wasnt too hard, You guys with the 2nd gen. extended cab short beds, where did you mount the pump, I didnt see enough room to mount it behind the T-case as it was too close to the tank, so it is ahead of the t-case in the line clamp hole, and is fairly close to the front drive shaft.
Also, has anyone made a shield for the pump on the frame to protect it from debris and salt?
