Does my box have a boost fooler??
I have the newer APB box from Blue Chip and it does plug into the MAP sensor, im putting on a boost elbow (none came w/ this box ) and im wondering about the overboost code....I would think it would still have to fool the computer just because of all the extra fueling it would have to boost higher than normal even w/o a boost elbow...what do ya think?? am i good to go or no....

Yes the EZ has the boost fooler built in. I don't know for shure on the other. If it hooks to the map sensor with an in/out plug i would think it has one also.

Re:Does my box have a boost fooler??
Thanks guys. will just blocking the rubber line to the actuator stop the WG from opening? and with an EZ will it run a lot better with it blocked or will the + really not be worth the time?
Thanks

WARNING: this is only true to a point. if the wastegate doesn't open, your drive pressures can get pretty high.
If your max boost is <35psi, go ahead and block the wastegate (or just use the fitting). IF you have enough fuel to spin the turbo past 35psi (especially after the WG is blocked), then you're off the turbo's map. Best you can hope for when off the map is poor t-charger performance (it makes very hot boost, which is bad). The worst you can expect when off the map is an exploded turbocharger, which can leave enough shrapnel in the intake to destroy your engine.
You are far better off using the boost elbow fitting (with the little bleed hole in it). This will reduce the chance of t-charger damage. Moreover, you might not see any EGT reduction at all by completely blocking the WG if your drive pressures are excessive.
