Do kevlar clutches really help?

I have a rebuilt 47RE that was done by a local shop. We put kevlar material clutches in instead of stock and I am wondering what that is really worth. I have an Axiom single disk and Suncoast VB. Does kevlar make a difference over "stock" material?

Do you mean kevlar bands? Not sure if they make kevlar clutches or at least I have never heard of them...

They are supposed to be the cats meow Looking at them from a technical aspect they should last much longer and put up with much more abuse. Try sanding fiber glass versus carbon fiber. Much higher burn point because of the higher carbon content in the kevlar. I have heard they have touchy egaugment though. Just dump it, it will be fine
