I'll post some tomorrow, but i just used a hole saw to cut some 1.5" and 1" holes in the bottom of the box...It helped out a bit but I switched over to a BHAF like 3 weeks later and i'm very pleased and I highly recommend it. Either way, i'll post some pics up tomorrow

No pics, I took a 2 3/8 hole saw and put 4 holes in the bottom of it. And I still have the tube connecting to the fender to draw cooler air.

I don't like the open filter in the rain idea.
How's that BHAF?
using a pre-filter on it?

THis is a good mod

i myself did take off the little piece of plastic that connects to the fender wall, along with silencer ring removal for turbo whistle..

Why not settle for a BHAF?

ive herd guys getting them for $27. mine was 35. and guys are obsessed that rain gets on them. But ive never had that problem. You can get an outerwares, but its not necessary IMO. The acual BHAF will last 50,000+ miles...

pre-filter makes rain worries a non-issue...

but, unless you're running without a hood, it's a non-issue anyhow IMO

The rain is not an issue, it has been beaten to death. There was actually as study done, the filter remained dry. Check this out...

2 years at 25,000 miles a year would equal 50,000 miles. I ran a BHAF for 3 years and went muddin and puddle diving and drove through some insane rain storms and never had an issue with water. And no I didn't use an outtwear.
