Disabling Torque Management?!

My friend has an 01 dodge and the torque management has to go, trying to do a burnout is useless cause of the torque management kicking in and the thing is a slug when you try to powerbrake it, We ordered a BD top speed eliminator from Jegs, thats the only thing I could find that says elminates it, but reading the instructions now, it says in full race mode the torque management is disables, but the cluster will not work and a chel engine light is displayed.

Now I have a 99 with no TM, but I know that there are more 01's running around that others, (at least it seems that way) there HAS to be a way to bypass this function, this cant be the only solution, can anyone offer help?

we were gonna put it in this afternoon but I dont like the way this module works. Oh, its a 01.5, auto, edge comp (not drag)

Thanks for any help.

I believe the BD is the only thing that will delete the TM, and yes, it disables the gauge functions when it's turned on.
Guys who run the BD with the Adreanline/Pulse combo say that the Pulse will still read RPM with the BD on, but that's it.

Borrow a Smarty, it eleminates TM 90%. It will stay with the truck even after you return it to stock.

Use the BD when at the track.
