. It WILL lock in 2nd also with a stock VB, just not in 1st. It wont lock if the shifter is in the manual "2" position, but as long as you keep it in the "D"(drive") position, it will lock in 2nd if you hit the switch when you take off.

Got the switch in today. Everything works well, only problem is that there is no visual reference to see that the tc is locked, so i'm going to have to rig up an LED.
