Digital or mechanical gauges?
So I decided Im gonna move my boost gauge to my steering colum so I can watch it with my Attitude better and figured I might as well up grade to a 60 lbs sinse I plan on passing 40 when I get my new turbo, while Im at it.
My question is, are digital gauges as accurate as mechanical? Its not going to give me an "estimated" lbs Like the J/A does is it?
Also, I cant seem to find any digital boost gauges that go over 35. Are they out there anywhere?
ALSO, Is there any reason why a boost gauge couldnt go in a steering colum pod? Digital or mechanical.

Wow mike haha.. Thats some serious boost!! Are you maxin out your 60 lb gauge?
I came up with a new j-hook on mine and first test hit 32 lbs!
Put my attitude on throttle % and at 60 % on stage 3 was stayin steady at 28 lbs.
Now over the next few days just need to keep tweekin and find that perfect for this HY, 29 lbs on stage 5 WOT.
That should hold me over till new turbo time. Hopefully.

i can help you out with the fitment issue ;
i have a mechanical fuel pressure on my steering columnn and it fits fine. i don't see why a mechanical boost would be any different . . .
the autometer pod is quite short for depth behind the gauge. i had to cut the mounting studs a bit to make it fit right, as well as bend the illumination terminals . . . .
by no means did i wreck anything on the gauge, just had to tweak it to fit right . . .
