a different TC lock-up switch question
ok ive had the lock-up switch for a couple years...i like it but almost never use it...its there just in case i ever have TPS issues...anyways recently i was changing the brake booster and forgot to adjust the brake sensor under the dash....so what had happened was i had no lock-up because the the break pedal was constanlty being tripped (i fixed this since of course so no problems) so what i was doing was using the switch till i had figured things out...i relly liked being in 3rd unlocked until i chose to lock...it was great..
question is how can i wire things or set things up so that i can be in 3rd unlocked for as long as i can...the "three way switch" or something?

Yep. Do what infidel said, and then you will need to have a 3 way switch or something so that it can work normally, be forced to stay unlocked, or forced lock. Or heck, it may be easier to run a seperate switch, and just make it think the brakes are on by tapping into the brake switch and making it think it has completed the circuit. I wouldnt mind doing this myself. Sometimes 2nd is too low, but 3rd is too high with the converter locked, but would be just right if I could hold it unlocked. I may do this sometime.
