diablo power puck

I don`t see too much about the diablo power puck!! Is there a problem with them? I have been using one for about two years, no problem. Are the newer boxes better?

Mikedeere,

Nothing wrong with them and you can still buy them. It's that an EZ or van Aaken is as good or better for less cost. We are WD direct with Diablo and just can't justify the extra cost vs an EZ or van Aaken product.

Welcome to the DTR!
Do you have a 98..or a 98.5 truck? 12v or 24v?
Put truck info in signature so we can answer intelligently.

Hmmm...Stacking a Power Puck? Think I have read about it being done but can not find anything. Someone should be able to answer you.

Injectors - I feel the best on the market are from F-1 by Don M. State of the art! Less smoke and more power for you money. See here...http://www.f1diesel.com/

Good Luck

RJ

PS, Interesting discussion came up today regarding wear & tear on stock injectors. If yours are bad, you might be interested in the comments of Don M. here....

Not familiar with the RV Converter...and don't know what parts you used for your tranny rebuild (stock or after market)...also if you upped line pressures, etc.
I would think you would be ok with Mach 1.5's, if you feel you have an "ugraded" trans. If you would call it a rebuilt stock tranny...maybe Mach 1.0's. Either set is a great all around addition for all types of CTD usage.

Well I guess it will be the 1.0`s I had it rebuilt at 155000 the only thing wrong with it was the T/C was starting to scudder a little. tranny was good. I don`t drive her to hard. The RV conv. was supposed to be somewhat heavier?? Maybe someone out there will know? Thanks so much for the help.

One more thing, Just how much more power will 1.0`s and 1.5`s give me? Is it worth the money? Will there be a NOTICABLE diff??? Or just a noticable diff????

Based on mileage on your stock injectors...i would say very NOTICABLE. Mach I's are 65 HP...as listed under products at http://www.f1diesel.com/.
Tranny still your weakest link...see hear for good info http://www.dieseltrans.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=136
