370's with a stock plate aren't a good combo. Cut on the plate a little if you're into saving bucks, or get a #10 for it's versatility if a couple hundred won't break you. Then go for the 181 or 191 DV's. Later in life (or this month) you'll be looking for laser cuts and aftermarket injectors, then a set of compounds blah blah blah. Try to buy ahead of yourself as much as you can to allow some growth before respending.....trust me, you'll want to keep going til the wife or the pocket stops you. Don't forget to add that extra air to burn the extra fuel.

As for the price of the DV's, I can't say who is the best supplier or how much someone would charge to install them. I got mine at Bosch dealer price...real cheap...and put 'em in myself. Whole job cost an hour and $130..oh and a six pack

Good Luck
Chris

The prices seem to be around $250-300 that I have seen, PDR has a set for 250, Enterprise which is right by you has a set for the same price, I haven't gotten new DV's yet, but after a turbo upgrade (my EGTs are scary enough as it is) I'll be going the same route. As for installing, if you have some mechanical ability it isn't that hard. Go spend the $250 extra you'd spend on labor having someone install them and get a timing tool set, which has the delivery valve socket in it, plus you'll be able to bump your timing up too, or I'm sure just the socket would be much cheaper.

i have haisley's laser dv's $350 and they snoke like crazy with my stock turbo, but as far as everyday driving the egt's stay down and so does the smoke. if you end up getting some come by and i'll put them in for you they only take about a half and hour to do. don't waste your money on 191's you already have the 181's in there

most definitely...his sig didn't appear to me when I posted. I didn't even see a HUGE difference between the 167's and my 191's. Spend the money somewhere else for the time being.
