Anyone running the Super high flows from PDR on a 97 215 pump? I have tried to run them two times now and it runs better with the stock DVs. I am confused

that could be for a variety of reasons

i have run schieds lasers on my truck, and guess what, even with twins they are gone.. IF your truck is not properly setup, you tow alot, or dont like black smoke, then large dvs are not for you. Depending on what injectors you run too, that will determine if you will like the dvs or not.. I am convinced now that i dont nor will not need more than what a 181 has to offer.. Many people have made huge power on them, I have a set of 131s and a set of 191s both here at home, but due to me towing i dont use them.. im sure for a dyno day ill probably toss em en for craps and giggles per say..

i would say that ur truck probably has too much fuel with the big pump and the huge dvs and its puttin out the fire before you can make the big power.. I myself have learned that an improperly setup full forward everything truck will not make big power.. the result was an embarrasing 429 rwhp on what should be at least a 500 horse truck.

a little more tuning later, and ill see what i hit, but since then ive updated injectors.... so thats all something to consider... so right now? what am i at? im not sure, but its definately more than 450 what should i be at? im guessin 500-550 or so...

anyways having run all three, laser cuts 181s and 191s with dragonflies, the smoke and egt spike is not worth the powergain over 181s.. although with a larger top turbo they might work better.. i went back to 181s and so far can keep a clean tailpipe.... smoke is cool for a little while... but i got sick of it...
