defueling/overfueling with comp

Today i was fooling around and tried the power brake launch. Put comp on 5x5 and built boost to about 8-10 lbs. let off the brake and my truck hesitated, like it wasn't getting fuel(or maybe to much)Is it possible to overfuel with the comp? Or was it defueling. It never took off like it should.
any ideas.

That isn't for everyday use, it kills your tach, for race use only.
