Deciding on rims, and whats available for Load E 315's?
Comin up on that time to replace the 285's i currently have with some 315's.. also need new rims to replace the tiny stockers..
Ideally id like to find some load range e 315's on all black 17"s..
Ranchand on the front has taken toll on the springs so skyjacker d25's will be done to help a bit with clearance on the tires.
Suggestions?
I like the cooper sst's, but i dont see load ratings for them..
The Toyo open country MT's are available in load E i think.
Rims im leaning toards KMC XD122 or XD766:
122's
766's
795's
Coopers SST
Toyo MT
Looking to do this right before summer, so about 2-3 months out.
Plenty time to research.

Just make sure when you chose wheels you make sure there wheels them selfs are rated for our trucks. alot of the wheels that fit our trucks are not desinged to take the weights that our trucks have and can haul.

That's got to be one of the few. I didn't know anyone made a "E" load range tire in 315 or 35. Most are "D's" but if you look at the weight rating, they are about the same as a smaller "E".

As far as the rims go, forged not cast.
Stay away from cast aluminum rims, they can't handle the weight.
Only forged aluminum or good ole american solid steel.

My advice would be to stay away from the SJ coils. They begin to sag right away. IMO you're better off getting a custom set of coils. I had SJ coils and removed them. The ride was getting worse and worse. Also load range letters mean absolutely nothing. You want to see what the tires are rated for. The D rated 315's I had were rated higher than the E rated 265's they replaced.

The Toyo's are E rated...but only the M/T's. The 315/75/16 A/T's are D rated.
Interco also makes one (SSR) that I have heard good things about.....
