DDP vs F1 Injectors

Hohn's review of the 4's pushed me over the edge to make the plunge to buy my injectors.
On a side note. I can get a set of M6's for an even swap for my 4.5s but I'm scared to mess around with my setup. It's OK ya'll can say it, I'm a chicken.

I have had both in my truck and really enjoyed the f1's but got a super good deal on a set of ddp's so I tried them, love the power of them but rough idle due to the size I believe, like they said in a previous post, Whats in your budget, and ask people who have each one. By the way every truck does react different than others in some small ways.

You've really got a sweet setup now. 500+/1000+, towing capable, and able to hit the 12's

I had an awesome towing combo of DD3's (Not DDP's) for 100hp, and edge comp, and an HX35 with 14cm housing...that thing spooled great and was easily managable when towing a jeep(7k with trailer) or a min excavator (14k with trailer). Then I took the plunge with a bigger turbo and was looking at M4's when I heard DDP was having a promotion with $300 off a set of their injectors. I saved some money and was extremely happy with the way my DDP 150's ran. I picked up 180hp at the rear wheels with them (no chip, or box) and they ran great. They would smoke until that laggy HX55 finally made boost, but any injector will smoke without the air to burn. I eventually sold them and went to a set of the DDP200's which were still cheaper than M6's.
I ran the DDP200's with my B1 turbo and tho I could still peg the EGT's on a WOT blast, there was nothing but a slight haze when spooled. The truck ran great with these sticks and the addition of a silver bullet turbo, and with no fueling box, these injectors were netting me 430hp at the rear wheels or 240hp over stock. All the while I could not see over 1400* on the pyro and there was zero smoke when spooled.
In May I met Lenny from DDP at the TS Outlaw race, and we talked a bit about my set-up and I mentioned that I was looking for a little more for sled pulling, but I knew that 200 was his largest off the shelf injector. Thats when Lenny gave me his card, told me to call him when I got home, and he would hook me up. Well I did this and WOW was I impressed, I am seeing much more power out of them now (not sure how much, haven't dynoed) but the truck pulls as hard with no TST now, as it did with the TST turned on before. I am seeing nearly 50psi with no TST, 55 with it, and still...NO SMOKE when spooled, and the smoke before seeing full boost is easily controllable.
DDP had a great deal 2 years ago, I was 100% pleased with their product, and I stuck with them, and Lenny has not let me down. I have never bashed or stated the F1 stuff was not good, but I have made comments that they are not the only one to make a decent product. I've been told time and time again that DDP is junk, that I need F1 to make power etc etc, but I am extremely happy with my set-up, the power, the smoke (lack of), the EGT's, and the drivability.

Good review of the DDP injectors GB. In the end, the best injector is the one that gets you what you want for the price you want to pay.
Whether it be DDP or F1 or any other injector on the market, we all seem to have the same common goal, better the performance of our trucks and have a darn good time doing it.

Did you dyno them before you had the HRVP44, or did they make 240hp over stock with the HRVP?

thats with the HRVP44, but i was under the impression that once you surpass the 150hp mark with injectors that an SO and HRVP44 are the gonna make the same top end power anyway...I don't know tho, just what i've heard from a few sources.

I'd like to see some comments from the 12V crowd running some F1's or DDP's. I see F1 has a "Hotrod 370" that can be tailored to fit. Anyone running these?
Muddin Dude - where did you get your 5 X 0.017's from?

Joefarmer runs Hot 370's, but F-1 didn't really get to involved with the 12v sticks
