DDP or RV275?
I've got a '98.5 24 valve with a quad adrenaline box, bhaf, and very soon a 4" exhaust. I tow a two car trailer with a lot of extra stuff on it and totaling around 10-11,000 lbs. I'm looking at either getting the RV275s or the DDP 40hp injectors to just help with towing and every day driving. I'd like to keep mileage good if I drive it nicely. I was also looking at the DDP 75hp injectors but don't think I'll need them with the box. What do you all think?

Great, now you guys tell me. I just ordered the RVs for about $50 more than the DDPs. Sigh, maybe I'll call the shop tomorrow and see if I can cancel the order.
No, my transmission hasn't been built, I didn't know you needed to build the five speeds other than taking care of the fifth gear issue.

I have been running the RV275/Bosch 300's for about a year now... I have no complaints, I noticed a definate change in performance! Now with the quadzilla cranked up its simply to hard NOT to speed!!
I havnt noticed much of a change in fuel economy. And they only leave what I would call a "brown haze" until the lazy HX40 wakes up, then it pulls like crazy!
I think you will be happy, nothing wrong with another 40-60HP thats safe.

The DDPs would be brand new too, that's the price straight from their web site. I'm going to call the shop in the morning and we'll see how things play out.

No question, get the DDP's!
It's not your tranny that will be an issue.....it's the clutch! With the box and injectors, it probably has a short life!
Look at Southbend Clutches ask for Peter. Far and away the #1 choice for our trucks.

Well, the shop had already ordered the RVs for me so I now have them installed and they work great. They smoke way more than the random ones I had in before but still have a good idle and run great, we'll see how mileage does. My truck has a relatively new stock clutch so I'm going to just go with it till it starts to slip then get something better.
I have to say I wasn't prepared for how much the RVs smoke, even with the box on stock settings, it's a lot of fun.

Hmm, mine smoke a TON more than stock, in fact it's hard to take off from a stop without getting a cloud of smoke and if I stand on it at pretty much any rpm it'll roll smoke. Maybe I should find out what I got if it's not the 275s.

That's good to hear. Just out of curiosity will going to a 4" exhaust cut down the smoke or just help the turbo spool faster and sound better? I'm most likely going to get one no matter what, I'm just curious.
