DDP injectors

Ok so I have a relatively stock truck. I have a AEm cold air with an amsoil cone filter and a full 4 inch exhaust on my truck. I have questions reguarding injectors. If i buy stage 2 injectors then I automatically gain 90 hp? Also I am thinking of getting a smarty down the road so will these injectors run well in the stock setup until I get the smarty? Educate me here

I believe DDP make that claim in RWHP in stock truck but not for sure. Stage 2 should be ok witht he stock turbo and tranny. Get some guages just to make sure and watch tranny temps. I'm sure some other with more knowledge will chime in as I'm not an auto expert or a fan of them.

First things first. If you're going to be adding power you need to address major weak points. Frist one being you need gauges. You'll need a fuel pressure, boost, pyro, and Trans. Second the trans. At minimum you'll need a TQ convertor and valve body. Third would be the fuel system. The facotry lift pump (fuel pump) is very weak and VERY prone to failure.

A set of 90 RWHP sticks will destroy your stock trans in a short time. The Smarty alone will take out a stock trans on the higher levels. If you have enough self control to leave the smarty on P1 or even P3 you'd me somewhat okay. The stock trains is only good for ~60 add RWHP. Depends on what kind of life it's had up to when you decide to starting adding power.

The moral of the story is, if you want to play you gotta pay.

I have 02 auto with MACH1.6,SMaRTY on #2 & a comp on 4x3 thats my daily setting. Now maxing out the SMaRTY & comp is a mistake on a stock tranny. A set of guages are a must fuel pressure & pyro at the least. Stock lift pumps are useless for HP upgrades look into bigger fuel lines and a fuel pump. And as always tranny upgrades with increased HP. I'll be doing my tranny this winter so I can add more HP next summer ei turbo & injectors.
