DD3's...which box to get?
#18
when i dynoed, i ran the it in EZ mode with the smoke setting on 3. i tried 5 but that gave me less power. possibly too much fuel at once for a good combustion. when you dyno, play with the smoke setting and see what happens. i wanted to try smoke setting 1, but never did. also, they tried to hook up the exhaust vent, but it blew right off...i think the thrust coming out of our exhaust helps push us forward
have fun, Pat
ps- as far as my clutch, i was hard on it. i never towed, but i drove it like i stole it. it held up for 6 months and would have kept going if i didnt hit that black ice i think the previous owner had upgraded it because with my power/torque and driving hard it never hesitated.

well last night at my current power levels i tested my clutch...i rocked my truck in 4wd back and forth for 10 minutes...reverse to 2nd gear hard and fast trying to get out of a snow pile...never even smelt the slightest bit of clutch...and i was driving hard
i drive it like i stole it daily, and i know with more power...its gonna fail unless its upgraded!!
i think i might end up with a LUK pro gold ceramatallic clutch in there soon...they are sightly cheaper but hold 550hp, 1100tq...ill have to try it
