DD2's or EDM's....
Putting my gauges in this weekend then my Comp box.....Fabricating my custom Cold air setup, and installing a 4" system....Question is on the injectors.....
DD2's = ? hp.....
Or someone told me a set of EDM's.....But i forget what size they said.....I was told these are a little more efficent then the dd2....
Can someone explain...?
Oh yea i already have plans for the trans before i crank up the box.......

THe DD 2 are rated at 80 hp. The 1.5 edms are rated at 85 hp, and the 2 edms are 105 hp. If you go with larger injectors you will also need to get a new turbo. Ill let the other guys go into detail on why the edms are better.

I liked the diesel dynamics injectors,used them for yrs in all our trucks,but recently I tried EDM'S from both Mass diesel,and Don Morrison. All I can say is WOW, the Don M Mach 6 EDMS are incredible, i dont think ill ever buy another extrude honed injector.These 6's make over 600RWHP with a box,and the smoke is very controllable,they can be easily street driven,unlike the biggest extrude honed ones.The EDM's Mass diesel is selling are excellent too,I noticed a huge gain with them as well over the Bully dogs i was running.

I am going to be installing a 4" exhaust and Fuel pressure gauge soon, and wondered which set of EDM injectors I should go with to retain the stock turbo?
And if I upgrade to the Comp from the EZ, which set should I get, and will it require a larger turbo?
I tow about 10K several times a year.
Thanks.

Mach 1.5s is probably about as large as I would go, although we do have a few guys running 2s, EZs and stocker turbos. They have to keep an eye on their EGTs while towing though, as you can get awful toasty, awful quick. I really wouldn't go past 1.5s.
Once you've upgraded to the Comp box, just about any set of injectors past a Mach 1 will require a turbo upgrade to keep EGTs in check, if you plan on running past power level 1.
