Dashhawk?

Has anyone tried the gadget called a DASHHAWK? Supposedly you plug it into your OBE slot and it monitors quite a few sensor/readings. Sounds sorta like an "Attitude" but a little different. Was hoping it'd fit my 2001.5 2500 BUT can't verify it'll work.

Scanguage II monitors the Diesel stuff, incl some of the Enhanced parameters, such as injection pressure, rail pressure (on the CRD's) - check-em out.............

If you want a laptop software scantool, Autoenginuitydotcom has a full function DRBIII emulator - does all the engine\transmission\transfercase\ ABS tests, just like the service techs do with the DRBIII and StarScan - check'em out..........

Dashhawk probably won't work on any truck older than 05 or 06. This is because it work with the CAN (Controller Area Network) system. Most american made vehicles didn't have that system untill 2005 or later. Looks like the scangauge will work on Dodge trucks after '98.

It would probably only monitor parameters that the ECM measures. Since FP and EGT's aren't monitored by the ECM, you're most likely SOL.

According to dashhawk's website, the 06-07 Dodge Ram 3500 Pickups had a 6.0 Diesel in them...yikes! HAHA
