I just got mine back on the road yesterday from swapping over.
The driveshaft U-Joint is the same. The only things you need is to shorten your original driveshaft around 1-1.5 inches, you need bigger axle plates off an 80 axle, and you might need U-Bolts.
I am currently running the same driveshaft that i had in with my 70(factory shaft). Its a little on the long side, and i plan to shorten it soon, but as of right now, its working fine. I will be driving it easy, and not loading it heavy until i get the shaft shortened though. I also didnt have any problems with the factory u-bolts.
