dana 60 shafts

Just to let everyone know, the 2002.5 dana 60 has 32 splines. The 2002 and earlier dana 60's on our trucks have 30 splines. The eaton locker isnt going in as cheap as I thought. I am having some 30 spline chromoly shafts made as we speak. FYI

why not just use standard 35 spline stuff? are the bearings/seals different in the post '92 axles? this axle is the only 60 i dont know...

I would probably have to get bigger bearings and seals. The weak spot on these axles is the stub shaft. I wish these trucks came with locking hubs and 35 splines like the old dodges and the fords. I guess thats the price you have to pay to get the cummins.
