Most of the dropped pitman arms drop the steering by 3" or so. As it moves the link from the top of the arm to the bottom of another arm.
Have you found an arm that has a 2" drop?
I think most do not worry about it. If you don't drop the track bar mount point, you are changing the factory geometry to the point that bump steer will be present. I have seen this first hand with another truck.
So, if you are not dropping that track bar, leave it alone.
