Custom Center Console

I just finished building a center console/ sub box for my truck. All 3/4 MDF housing one sony xplode 12. Made a little storage area beside the 4wd shifter. Let me know what you guys think. Plan to add the original back seat cupholder to the front of the console between seats, and also re-attach the armrest / storage area form original seat.

Im thinking about doing the same thing. Only I will do a smaller sub and a 11" screen with a dvd in there for the kids on camping trips.

LOOKS GREAT!! I'm all the time customizing something. Gives you satifaction to think up a plan and make it. Especially when you put thought into it,like your almost match of colors in your truck. At first glance it looks like it matches.
Keep up the great work!!

Looks good.
I've just done my own center console in a 5spd truck; no sub-woofer, I just hated the wasted space of the seat w/ a 5 speed.

What did you use to cover it?
At first I thought it was carpet, now I think it looks like a spray-on bed-liner stuff.

That looks great! Always thought that the center "seat" was a waste of space with the 5 speed.

It is carpet, auto/marine stuff i picked up at no where other than Wallyworld for about 9 bucks. It was the only thing close to matching the grey seats. I was going to glass the whole thing but like everyone else i dont have time to get that fancy.

Looks nice. I just ordered the stealthbox that goes in place of the center console. That thing rocks! It's expensive, but my brother manages an a/v store so I got hooked up. Otherwise I'd probably do something like you did. Nice work.
