Question Cummins Super B twins...

Guys

Mind you, i am TOTALLY CLUELESS about how twins work, how twins plumbing should be, or anything having to do with twins, i admit it.. I browsed thru my diesel power mag once again and saw that twin turbo setup by that particular company, dieselperformance i think that sells them, Honestly it dont look complex at all, just an exhaust mainfold and two turbos hooked up to each other, the bottom and top one open, It kinda seems like there is nothing to them, just hook one to the intercooler, and one to an airfilter of some sorts, My question is, is it really that easy? or is there so much more to it than that.. It cant be that simple.. seriously thats my opinion, but that setup sure looks nice.. and easy to understand... which one would have the exhaust or the downpipe? NOW it starts to get confusing..... um help?

Very confused...

Air goes into the big charger then to the little charger, through the intercooler then engine then out through the little charger then into the big charger and down the downpipe. Little charger bolts to the manifold and the big charger gets the downpipe

if I am not mistaken the exhaust connects to the small turbo, then flows to the big turbo and then down the downpipe. the intake goes from the air filter to the big turbo, out the big turbo through the small turbo, then to the intercooler. it is pretty simple I think, but probably can be tricky to set up. just do a search for twins and you should have plenty of reading material

Twin Turbos for Dum Dums..

OK

Next question.. is the big charger on the top or on the bottom? Ill search the topic, thanks guys.. anymore input from anyone? Please help me learn... The only thing i do know, is that there is little or almost no lagtime on a twinned truck (that i have ridden in) and that EGTS run much cooler...
