what makes the modified trucks loap and sound like they do when the start spooling the turbo??

can u adjust the timing on a 24 valve beyond a chip or is it all electrial

Bo you cant change the timing on tha 24s its all in the vp electrics. As far as getting one to lope you can i you get a lucky hotrod vp44 from II or schieds or such.

I thought they were lopin because they have so much fuel and the turbo ain't spooled up and was kinda like floodin. I'm talkin about when there first startin to spool up

its all in the timing, some pullers use as much as 60 degrees of timing. more time to fill the cylinders with fuel and air before it compresses and ignites. in the case of flooding there is a thin line where hydrolocking the cylinder comes into play.
