the guys that want to run a 4 in. exh all the way from the turbo out would benefit from getting that brake, it doesnt bolt right to the turbo , it is place in the exh piping , we usually mount them on the down pipe right off the turbo. they can be mounted up to 4 feet from the turbo. you just wont get a air compressor to work that unit. so if you can or have air comp. already, it will work.

John , that kit will require a air supply , if you have a compressor and a small tank , yes it will work on your 12 valve , one thing I notice not on the kit is a throttle micro switch that the solenoid can be wired so that it don't work anytime the engine is above idle. you can also get that kit from Jacob to make that kit work. I dont know what flange came with that kit on E Bay either , but they arent that expensive either to make it work , the exh piping before the brake will have to be tight with no leaks, and you can also get the gaskets for the flanges also from Jacob to make it leak free. if your truck have a vacumn pump on, it might be cheaper to just get the right kit for yours build.
