Couldn't come at a worse time!! Headgasket!!
#18
ouch, that's quite a bit of timing! I went with a .010 over regular gasket from cummins, I think it was $97. Then exhaust gaskets were $10 for the set, then I did new grid heater and intake gaskets, $20 for the set, then studs were $400. You can order them from Summit and use the best price gaurantee. Tell them to check DTT and they'll give you them for $400 and you get free shipping. Oh yeah, DON'T forget to unplug the coolant sensor at the back of the head!

MAN...sorry to hear about the HG....but like you said....was going to happen sooner or later.....wish it was later......
ALSO sorry about the injector collar being loose....i should have Torqued them (had my Torque wrench in the truck....not to mention...i think...and this may be a long shot...but Brian might have one ).....but got lazy due to being tired/. That should have been done right the first time.......
Might want to look into the 3rd gen multilayer gaskets (dont think is was the marine).....correct me if i am wrong....but i believe that Don M said something about this...and has basicly said that O-rings were not needed with this set up.....just think that some coolant passage have to be drilled to match......something like that...do a search.....or try to get Don to talk.......
Got me thinking about doing timing on the 12V's....i ordered that kit from Snap-On last week...and my lame "butt" (For lack of a better word!!) rep just wont push to get stuff ordered.....takes him 4 weeks to get junk in!!! ANYWHO.....i really need to do some digging.......and find out what is needed to get it done right.....
Any good links for setting the timing? I want to read read read.....i dont have the pockets for someone elses head gasket....much less my own.......
Too bad they dont have a timing mark like the JD P-pump, Eh Brian? Takes all the fun out of it......which, by the way, you wont get to see me for any electical training.....they shoved me infront of a computer in the Durrant store and taped my eyes open to test out of the class.........yeah....i wish i had the 4 days....that was something else!!!

Its alright Dan it got me really familiar with the injectors. I say the more expirirence the better. On the timing this website has good info there is a few things that you do differently but it gives you the general idea. http://dodgeram.info/tsb/1994/18-10-94a.htm

A buddy of mine told me that Piers said that on a single turbo, about 45-50psi was all you could push the headgasket to and with twins you could safely do 55-60. The reasoning behind it was drive pressure. Since twins creat a much lower drive pressure and are more efficient in creating their boost, they aren't as hard on head gaskets. Don't quote me on that though.
