copper turbo gaskets

Has anyone used the copper turbo to manifold gaskets with any luck? I put some on when I installed my S366 and I have a couple small leaks. Im going to try and put a little more torque on them and see if it helps or not. Just curious about anyone else!

You can try using a flat file to knock the high spots down on the manifold.

I thought it was pretty smooth and even but I'm not positive. I have a t3 to t4 adapter on it and I think it needs some attention.

Have the surfaces milled and the problem would likely disappear.

How does that S366 run anyway. Is that an S300 based 66mm turbo?

It runs great so far. I only have a few miles on it, I just got around to putting it on this week. I want to get my external wastegate fabbed up before I really lay into it, but my tired HX35 put down 439rwhp and this one puts it to shame in a major way on the butt dyno! So far Ive pushed it to about 55 psi and it cools really well and spools just a tad slower than my HX

Sounds good, how much do you have in that turbo anyway? Over a grand?

Yep over a grand, and its not a direct bolt-on being t4 flanged. But I think it will be worth it!

A"tad" slower than an HX? For an S366?

That's a pretty generous "tad", if I may say so.

ATS makes a T4-flanged manifold for those who may not have the space or inclination to run an adapter.

Ahh crap, my bad! I forgot I changed my sig already, I was running an 18.5cm on my HX35. It spooled hard at about 1800, this one seems to light hard at about 2000 rpms.
