Spoke with Justin at Quadzilla! He's sending me a loaner today, so I can go to track this weekend. Sending me a return authorization # for sending mine in! Great service, IMO.
He said he usually only sees this problem on trucks that start hard. A lot of cranking can generate overload of current... if I understood him correctly.
He said has only seen this problem on Beta tester boxes with earlier curcuit boards, like mine. Those who purchased production models, through approved dealers, should be ok.
Anyway, they have seen 3-4 of these and are aware of the problem!

yeah i had the exact same thing happen to me a few weeks ago justin took care of it right away he had me get a loaner box from a local shop and that was that.... so yeah thanks justin

well my box burned up today, sent it to quad it will be there tom., ah, well guess I have to drive my 06 for a little while. I had the adr1000 box with the comp tune uploaded and it ran fine till I had to move her and she started to blow out white smoke and would not start.... the white thing instide burned up, had the box on there for a week.

I've gotta get off my butt myself and give them a call. Yesterday I was sitting at a red light and noticed some flickering. Glanced over and my truck was DEFUELING. I'm like ***? Sure enough, I can see the EGT's fluctuate as it's flickering defueling. The pulse buttons completely stopped working for me, otherwise I would have checked backdown to see what it was doing.
Pulse is getting pulled tonight and shipped back, and I'll see what Justin thinks when I give him a call to let him know it's coming.
